Committed

growth

The last week came with a lot of different conversations about intention and growth.

Hubs and I had our annual check up with our PCP and got great feedback. We made some health goals last year and met them, no big deal. The talk with our doctor then moved onto, what next? We’ll just set a few more.

Hubs and I were talking about what comes next for me professionally and I realized whatever it is my main focus is on my growth. I asked for this internship because I wanted a big growth opportunity, this experience has not disappointed in that regard. I want to continue on this path of growth, I want to continue to have new (sometimes intimidating) experiences. I want to do what I thought I could not do.

Growth shows up in little ways, little everyday decisions that you commit to. Then slowly, over time, you realize things have changed. Or you met a goal. Or you are no longer the you that you were and instead of being scary that truth is really really exciting.
